As a Vision Skills Specialist, it is heart wrenching when kids need vision training and it's not financially possible. Most insurances do not cover vision therapy and those that do rarely pick up half of the cost. To enable more students to be able to receive the care they need Tennille has started Moore Vision Skills. It is her goal to provide the care that's needed for an affordable price.
Tennille has been working in the field of Optometry since 1995. She has been a vision therapist since 2003 and in 2005 Tennille became a Certified Optometric Vision Therapist through the College Of Vision Development www.covd.org.
She has been involved in the community: writing articles on vision development; public awareness for vision problems; speaking at various offices/parenting groups; and working with Autistic children (at Kris' Camp).
To the right is a picture of Tennille & our former Scottsdale Mayor Mary Manross receiving a proclamation for August being National Children's Vision and Learning Awareness Month. In 2008 Tennille received 13 proclamations for the state of Arizona.
Tennille resides in with her husband Jamey, and their dogs Snoopy & Shadow. They are very active and enjoy running marathons, paddle boarding, hiking and biking.
Tennille is available for consults, speaking engagements, attending meeting with educators and therapists to create an efficient plan for clients.
